- Basic Google profile data (name, email, profile photo) via Google Sign-In.
2) App content and interactions
- Bookmarks (saved posts)
- Likes
- Comments you write
- Recent searches (may be stored locally on your device for convenience)
3) Diagnostics
- Crash logs / performance diagnostics to improve stability.
How we use information
- To provide the core features (reading, searching, bookmarking, liking, commenting).
- To keep your account secure and prevent abuse.
- To improve performance and fix bugs.
Data storage and processors
TechTonic may use third-party infrastructure providers (for example Firebase) for authentication and storage. We only store data necessary for the app to function.

We use industry-standard security measures and trusted providers (such as Firebase) to protect your data.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information only:
- With infrastructure providers that power the app (auth, database, hosting).
- If required by law, or to protect users and the service from abuse.
Your choices
- You can browse in guest mode.
- You can sign out at any time from the app.
- You can request deletion via the in-app feedback section (include your account email).
Data deletion rights
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Upon request, we will permanently delete your data from our systems unless retention is required by law.
Children and age limit
TechTonic is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
